Looking at COVID-19 case numbers reported by The Otsego County Department of Health (3/28): there were 25 new confirmed cases Sunday with 5 people currently hospitalized with complications from the virus.  There are currently 183 known active cases in the county with a total of 55 COVID-19 related deaths. Delaware County Health officials have an update from Friday (3/26), reporting 19 new cases that day. At that time, there were 132 active cases and 11 people hospitalized. In Chenango County, the health department reported new COVID-19 stats for 3/26 on their facebook page. At that time, the health department was reporting 104 active cases, 5 hospitalizations related to the virus, and the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 complications are currently at 64. For those who are currently eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and want to get on the county's wait list, send an email with your name, date of birth, address, phone number and eligibility criteria to COVID19@co.chenango.ny.us.
