Town Of Oneonta Tops In Census Response Rate

Opportunities for Otsego released a report on the response rates to the 2020 Census. As of the end of May, the highest response rate was in the town of Oneonta at 60%, followed by Laurens, Burlington, Edmeston, Otego and the city of Oneonta. All of those municipalities are over 50%. The census response deadline is extended due to COVID-19 and you can complete the census online at my2020census.gov or by calling 844-330-2020. Completing the census is important to receive local funding and state funding for programs.
