Tom Walsh, a Worcester outdoor enthusiast and cancer survivor who had a desire to give back to The Bassett Cancer Institute and Otsego Outdoors is back from his fundraising outdoor adventure.

The idea of the Summer Octet Challenge in Otsego County is to get outside and enjoy hiking, biking, paddling, and/or some other activity at designated locations throughout the county.

Cancer survivor Tom Walsh of Worcester, NY is doing a 200-mile fundraising walk to benefit Bassett Cancer Institute and Otsego Outdoors.

Winter is a great time to get outside and soak up all the natural beauty of the Otsego County countryside which you can discover by participating in the Otsego Outdoors Winter Octet Challenge.

The Otsego Fall Octet Challenge invites you to get outside and enjoy exploring at designated locations throughout Otsego County.

The idea is to complete at least 8 of the 12 trails designated in Otsego County
