The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline fell 7.1 cents from a week ago to $3.19 a gallon on Monday.

U.S. Gas prices have hit a four-month high with 32 straight days of increases at the pump bringing misery to spring breakers and job hunters.
The Automobile Association of America said Monday that the national average for a gallon of regular is $3.73 and is 43 cents more than a month ago. Prices top $4 per gallon in California and Hawaii.
U.S. Drivers should see lower gasoline prices in the 4th quarter of this year. The national pump price is expected to average $3.56 per gallon for the period.
That’s down 4 cents from what the energy information administration projected in last month’s forecast.
