Step Up For Kids! 5K Run/3K Walk This Sunday In Cooperstown

On Sunday, September 29, 2013, at 8am, the Otsego County Child Advocacy Center will be hosting a 5K Run/3K Walk at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown.  This event is part of a statewide effort by 17 of New York’s Child Advocacy Centers who will work together over this weekend to help build support for the community and Step Up for Kids!  The primary goal is to raise awareness (which is the first step of prevention) of the prevalence and the realities of child abuse in New York. 

Your participation in the Step Up for Kids Run/Walk, is very important for our youth.  It will help to ensure that the right services are available for children who have experienced abuse.   Plus you will be helping to prevent future abuse from happening.  Register online or the day of race.
