The inspirations for the famous movie "A League of Their Own" are touring central New York this weekend as part of their hall of fame reunion.'

They were on hand in Cooperstown, signing autographs for visitors at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and museum.

Saturday, they will be at Alliance Bank Stadium in Syracuse for an exhibition softball game.

The women, no in their 70s and 80s, were part of the all-women baseball league during World War II. The league was formed to fill the void in baseball due to men leaving for the war.

That league was represented in the 1992 movie "A League of Their Own."
