Otsego County to Get $1.9 Million for Community Revitalization
Otsego County has been awarded $1.9 million in state community revitalization funding.
Of that, $206,000 will go to Loxus and $100,000 to Custom Electronics for high tech initiatives.
Brooks' BBQ bottling plant will receiving $100,000. Then, $200,000 is targeted at "micro-economic development grants," with three already approved for the city of Oneonta, including $41,000 to expand Latte Lounge. Wilber Park bath house restoration will receive $241,000.
City Hall also received $400,000 to go forward with its collaboration with Housing Visions of Syracuse, whereby decrepit properties will be acquired, renovated and sold back into the private economy.
