Late yesterday afternoon, a City of Oneonta crew addressed a water main break on Hazel Street which continued well into the evening. Residents may experience some very temporary residual effects like a change in water color, pressure and/or loss of water. This is a common, temporary occurrence and is not a cause for alarm. Water discoloration should disappear after running a cold-water tap for a few minutes.

Also, snow removal in the city took place overnight and continues this morning until 8:00 a.m. with Main St., between Chestnut and Elm streets closed off during that process.
