Oneonta Police to Hold Prescription Drug Collection

The city of Oneonta Police Department will be a designated collection site in the annual Drug Enforcement Agency’s "dispose of unused prescriptions" day on Saturday, Sept. 29.

Any person may drop off unused or expired medications between the 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the OPD, 79 Main St.

The unused medication will be collected free of charge and properly disposed. For more information call the OPS at 432-1111, the DEA at 1-800-882-9539 or visit dea.gov.
