One Arrested in Connection with Oneonta Fires

A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday evening in connection with at least one of the string of fires that struck the city over the weekend.

Gable Bugel was charged with attempted third-degree arson. He is alleged to have set a fire behind Community Bank on Main Street on Sunday night.

That particular blaze did not cause damage, but police are still investigating Bugel's possible involvement with the other fires in the city.
