State Police are targeting speeding and aggressive drivers during a special weeklong traffic enforcement initiative that begins Thursday and runs through next Wednesday. The “Speed Week” enforcement campaign will also see troopers actively patroling highway work zones and will target drivers who violate New York’s “Move Over” Law. Nearly 25,000 tickets were issued during the 2019 Speed Week campaign including 13,000 for speeding and close to 600 for distracted driving.
