New York Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul was in Cooperstown on Monday for an appearance at the Northeast Association of State Departments of Agriculture Conference. In her comments Hochul says she wants to see New York provide assistance to upstate farmers much like it has for the food and beverage industry.

Another issue discussed was climate change and Hochul mentioned the agreement Governor Cuomo made with his counterparts in California and Washington State to keep up the Paris climate accord even though President Trump withdrew from it earlier this month.
