Norwich Set for 2012 Pumpkinfest
Norwich is gearing up for the annual Pumpkinfest this weekend in East Side Park in downtown Norwich. The event is early this year to avoid bad weather and conflicting events. The fun begins Friday night with fritz’s polka band, Shannon stark and Jason wick on stage.
The fun begins Friday night with fritz’s polka band, Shannon stark and Jason wick on stage. Friday night is also the giant pumpkin contest with cash prizes in all age categories, while Saturday is the popular pet costume contest, scarecrow contest and a pumpkin bake-off.
Performing on the stage Saturday will be the Donna Freck Irish dancers, Katlyn Jackson, impersonator Ron Leone, and the Woodshed Prophet.
The evening will end with the well-known Beadle Brothers Band.
