Niagara Falls Tightrope Tickets Sold Out
Tickets Sold Out to Niagara Falls Tightrope Spectacle
Those who were hoping to get tickets to see a man walk across Niagara Falls on a tightrope will be disappointed.
The 4,000 tickets available to see Nick Wallenda walk from the American side of the falls to Canada have all been taken.
The June 15th event will feature a spectator location on Terrapin Point, a view that will allow people to see the daredevil’s walk across the chasm from beginning to end.
The walk will also be available on big screen TVs. The tickets were offered by the New York State Parks Department. No tickets are needed on the Canadian side.

Aqueduct Convention Center on Hold
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has put his plans for a major convention center at the Aqueduct Race Track on hold.
He says talks with the developer, called the Genting Organization, have stalled, and they were the people who were going to provide the funds to develop the center.
The largest convention center in the country was part of the governor’s last State-of-the-State speech. The plan would be to combine the convention center, race track, and a casino. The casino would require an amendment to the state constitution.
At the moment, the main convention center for downstate events is the aging Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
The proposed Aqueduct convention center project would have had a $4 billion price tag which the governor hoped would bring in benefits to the state’s economy.
