Memorials Begin For State Trooper Ross Riley

Memorials will begin today for the New York state trooper who fell to his death at Letchworth State Park Wednesday afternoon.

44-year-old trooper Ross Riley died when he fell 30 feet from a ledge during a special operations response training at the park.

Riley was a former marine who had served the state for 17 years. His wife is also a state trooper.

A funeral will be held tomorrow at Saint Bonaventure University. You can read Trooper Riley's obituary here.
