Laurens Woman Faces Felony Child Sex Abuse Charges

According to a press release from the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office, deputies have  arrested a 37-year-old Laurens woman on felony child sexual abuse charges. An investigation found Shelly Ann Young was sexually involved with a boy under the age of 15 and also sent text messages to the same box requesting he have sex with her. Young was taken into custody on Tuesday and remanded to the Otsego County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. She is to appear in the town of Laurens Court at a later date.
