Jefferson Second Graders Get Ready To ‘Read Across America’ [Audio][Photos]

Second graders from Jefferson Central School came in to record their promo for Read Across America. The students participated in a reading contest at their school and won the opportunity to record a commercial on the Mix 103.9FM WSRK.

Townsquare Media Oneonta stations are proud to team up with local schools to promote the National Education Association’s (NEA) Read Across America.  March 2nd is the celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday and is also when we celebrate the joy and power of reading.  Take a listen to the students' commercials and check out the pictures below:
