It is every artist's goal to have a number one album.  It is a challenging achievement.  Then to have an album produce seven top ten U.S. singles, is spectacular and only three albums have done that.  Today in music history we go back to 1989 when Janet Jackson climbed to number one on the U.S. album chart with Rhythm Nation 1814.  She would remain queen for four weeks.

The album produced hits including: "Miss You Much", "Rhythm Nation", "Escapade", "Alright", "Come Back To Me", "Black Cat", and "Love Will Never Do".

The only other two albums to produce seven top ten U.S. singles are "Thriller" by Michael Jackson and "Born In The USA" by Bruce Springsteen.
