Help Harvest Thick Ice At Hanford Mills’ Ice Harvest Fest [Audio]

Considering the frigid temperatures we've endured here in Central New York, I think it's safe to say that there will NOT be a shortage of ice this year at Hanford Mills Museum's "Ice Harvest Festival" coming up this Saturday, February 1st in East Meredith at the museum. 

Hanford Mills Executive Director, Liz Callahan talks below about how important harvesting ice was to people before refrigeration and just how much fun the Ice Harvest Fest is, as an interactive event for families.
