Fraggle Rock Day [Video]

Where can you dance your cares away?  Save your worries for another day?  Down at Fraggle Rock!  On this day, September 12, 1987 the cartoon version of Fraggle Rock premiered on television.  The animated series followed right along the very popular original series.  Which did you like better?  Being such a big Muppet fan, the choice is easy for me.

The original series started in 1983 and was one of HBO's first original series.  We didn't have cable so it was a real treat to get to watch the show.  I remember getting the chance to watch it at my friend, Becky's, house and occasionally at my grandmother's.  The show was seen in 98 countries!
