Former Laurens Superintendent Comes Out of Retirement To Help Cooperstown School District Fill Void
The recently-retired Laurens Central School District Superintendent who holds the title of longest-serving Superintendent in Otsego County, Ramona Wenck is putting retirement on hold for now to lend Cooperstown Central School a helping hand by becoming their Interim Superintendent according to AllOTSEGO. Romona Wenck will take over on Oct. 1, a day after current Superintendent Bill Crankshaw leaves to take a similar role at the Greater Johnstown School District. It’s a homecoming for Crankshaw who is a graduate of that district. Cooperstown officials have begun the search for Crankshaw’s successor.
