Movie Buffs Everywhere Can View Virtual 2021 ‘Glimmerglass Film Days’
Hey movie buffs, it's baaaack! Cooperstown-based Glimmerglass Film Days for 2021 is coming up from November 4 through 11 and it is set to inspire and bring hope along with it through the types of films chosen this year.
After conducting a survey, the 2021 Glimmerglass Film Days presented by Otsego 2000 is going to be a virtual event with some films being shown in person in Cooperstown. The good news is, ALL films will be accessible virtually for easy viewing for movie buffs everywhere.
This year's festival, curated by Artistic Director Margaret Parsons and Programmer Joe Katz, features independent documentaries and narrative features and shorts that reflect the theme “Rise”.
All films in this festival can be watched online via television, computer, tablet, or phone. There will be five films shown at the Grandstand Theater at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and at Templeton Hall in Cooperstown. The cool thing is you can buy the full package with the ability to watch as many as you want or you can purchase each film separately, as your schedule allows.
If you would like to attend any of the in-person viewings, you must have proof of completing your COVID-19 vaccination, show a photo ID and wear a face mask.
You can see the schedule and film summaries, movie trailers, cost of participation, and more at glimmerglassfilmdays.org.
