Former Deputy Charged With Protection Order Violation
A retired Delaware County Sheriff’s deputy who is already in jail on attempted murder charges has been charged with violating a protection order. The Sheriff’s Department says Theodore Tiska is being held on a $75,000 cash bail on second-degree attempted murder charge from May. He was arrested for allegedly using a “dangerous cutting instrument” to attack his wife and causing serious physical injury. The Masonville man was found to have contact with the victim by phone earlier this month during a random check of outgoing inmate phone calls.
