Farmers’ Market In Cooperstown
Lauren Pennino
Have some free time on a Saturday? Looking for fresh quality fruits and vegetables? If so, head down to Cooperstown and visit the Cooperstown Farmers’ Market.
The selection contains seasonal fruits and veggies to all cuts of local meats and fresh poultry. There are 30 different vendors to shop from all within a 50 mile radius. Aside from fruits and meat, there is also milk, eggs, cheese, honey, maple syrup, baked goods, wine and spirits.
Artisans will have tables set up containing their craft work, wool, yarn, and beeswax candles. While shopping, there will also be live, upbeat musical performances going on.
This market has been going on since 2000 and it is a great way to spend your afternoon with great people and even better food.
