Delaware Academy Business Manager Appointed Interim Superintendent

Delaware Academy has announced that the school's Business Manager, Carey Schultz will act as Interim Superintendent, replacing Jason Thomson who is leaving the district next month. Thomson is retiring.  According to school district officials, Schultz will hold both positions until the district finds Thomson’s successor with additional pay to be determined by the board. Schultz has been with the district since 2015. A farewell reception for Thomson is happening at the next regularly scheduled board of education meeting on Jan. 27 at 6 p.m.
