Cleanest Hotel Rooms

When choosing a hotel, you would choose the cheapest room or the cleanest room?  Does the thought of bed bugs creep you out?  Two years ago we drove to Florida and planned on stopping half way down and half way home.  I wasn't going to stay just anywhere.  The price was important but cleanliness was more important to me.  I searched the internet for about a week (driving my husband crazy) to make sure we had the best of both worlds. Maybe I wigged out about the whole bed bug epidemic, and other people's germs but I felt "better safe than sorry".

Best Western has announced their new approach to cleaning their hotels starting this year.  Very high tech.  Ultraviolet sterilization wands and UV black lights will be used plus blankets, pillows and towels will be wrapped to show they are freshly cleaned.  This will make travelers very happy.
