Chenango County Celebrates Small Businesses

Commerce Chenango and Chenango County businesses will celebrate November 30th as Small Business Saturday.

Small Business Saturday was started by American Express in 2010, and is a day dedicated to supporting small business and local economies across the country. Studies have shown that when you spend close to home, more of your money stays within the community. For each dollar spent at a local business, 45 cents is reinvested locally.

From 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, shoppers who provide a sales slip from a local retailer that day will enjoy free coffee, tea or cider at Commerce Chenango, 15 South Broad Street, Norwich.
