The Bearcats have been off since a loss at the University of Pittsburgh on December 20.  Hartwick has not played since December 14 when they defeated Morrisville 67-58.

The teams are meeting for the third consecutive season but the overall records go back to the Division III days for both teams.  They first met in 1946 and Hartwick holds a 36-11 edge overall.  Last season the Bearcats defeated the Hawks at the Events Center by a final score of 89-70.

Binghamton's Sam Sessoms continues to pace the Bearcats in scoring averaging 19.3 points per game and averaging 4.6 assists per game.  Sessoms leads America East in those categories as well.  George Tinsley is rapidly making his mark at the Division I level.  He leads the entire nation in minutes played per game averaging 39:19 per contest.  The freshman from Clarks Summit, Pa. has played entire games six times and saw action in all 45 minutes (overtime) of BU's win over Boston University.

Tipoff is set for 2:00 PM on Sunday and can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  Airtime is 1:45 PM.
