The Stanley Cup Playoffs have been better than anyone could have expected so far. In a world where sports fans have become very familiar with being disappointed, it's awesome to see the two bubble system of the NHL not only work but exceed expectations. ESPN NHL Insider and Glens Falls resident Barry Melrose joins Levack and Goz to discuss how great this playoff setup has been, how far the New York Islanders can go, who's the team to watch and what the heck happened to the New York Rangers?

First off Islanders' fans have a lot to be excited about and Barry Melrose seems pretty excited about their chances. The way they're playing and the talent has really come together. As a matter of fact, Melrose feels that not only will the Islanders be a team to watch for years to come but thanks to their number one overall pick the Rangers could be in the mix as early as next season.

As for this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs Melrose says the team to watch for new fans or any of us without a team in the mix is the Colorado Avalanche. They're good and play exciting hockey. Listen to the entire Barry Melrose interview below.
