Arc Otsego Trainee Donald Huckins Wins Joslin Outstand Performance Award

A trainee with the Arc Otsego’s Vocational Training Center in Oneonta has been named the 2013 William B. Joslin Outstanding Performance Award corecipient by New York State Industries for the Disabled, Inc.

The award will be presented to Donald Huckins during NYSID’s Annual Meeting at 5 p.m. Monday at The Saratoga Hilton in Saratoga Springs.

Huckins, who was nominated by Arc Otsego staff, was chosen from among 59 Joslin Award nominees statewide to receive the prestigious William B. Joslin Outstanding Performance Award.

Jennifer Lawrence, Manager, Corporate Communications, NYSID, noted that Huckins was selected for the award because he epitomized the Joslin Awards’ criteria of success through preferred source employment, outstanding performance and personal growth. All outstanding performers receive a certificate of achievement and cash award, and are featured in an annual yearbook.
