ARC Otsego Opens Up Summer Fun Money For Individuals To Apply For [Audio]

ARC Otsego, a non-profit agency, based in Oneonta, NY that serves those in Otsego County with developmental disabilities, just received a $10,000 recreation grant from NYSARC Trust Services.  This is an almost 100% increase from previous years.

Lynne Sessions, ARC Otsego's Community Relations Director talked with me about what that funding will be used for and how those with disabilities can access it.  Listen below.

Individuals who have an intellectual and/or other developmental disability, who receive at least one service from The Arc Otsego, and live on their own or with others in a non-certified setting are eligible for the Summer Wishes Fit & Fun Recreation Grants. Funded activities must take place between from June 21, 2014 and September 1, 2014.
