Public Welcome to Education Forum About State Mandates On Nov. 6 SUNY Oneonta [Audio]

The Oneonta Area For Public Education is hosting an education forum on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 fro 6pm to 8pm at SUNY Oneonta Morris Hall.  The coalition of teachers, parents, and community members will be discussing Common Core State Standards and state testing.  The forum is free and open to the public.  Kalindi Naslund, an education major at Hartwick College, encourages everyone to attend:

This is an opportunity to become informed about what is going on in our state's education system.  Selected speakers will being giving brief presentations on high stakes testing, common care, opt out movement, and more.

The forum will be at in the Morris Conference Center at the State University College at Oneonta from 6 to 8 p.m.
