It is that time of year, the annual Oneonta Halloween Parade is coming. The parade will be held on Monday, October 31st , if you would like to participate  line –up will take place on Elm St. between 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., judging at 6:45 p.m., the parade starts at 7 p.m.  Schools and individual groups are welcome to participate in this year's parade or come as a spectator and enjoy the fun.

Families can also enjoy a safe Halloween trick or treating experience at participating Downtown Oneonta merchants, before the parade from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.  This event will go from one end of Main Street all the way to the other end. New participants include the Oneonta Shirt Company and the Huntington Memorial Library, who will be giving out comic books while supplies last.  Don’t forget to go through the Clinton Plaza as well. All participating businesses will have welcoming signs in their storefronts.
