A South New Berlin man is one of forty recruits graduating last week New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s 21st Basic School for Uniformed Officers, including two local environmental conservation officers, according to Governor Cuomo's office. Environmental Conservation Officer Dustin T. Osborne completed the 28-week long course that covered among other things environmental conservation law, criminal procedure, firearms and wildfire suppression. Osborne now joins the 275 ECO’s and 131 forest rangers currently serving across New York State.
