Delaware County Fair Ride Operator Arrested

A man who was operating a ride at the Delaware County Fair is facing a slew of charges as a result of his arrest for doing his job while under the influence. Police say Matthew Dyer who gave an address in Florida operated the midway ride while drunk endangering the passengers on the ride. Dyer was arraigned in the Village of Walton Court and was booked into the Delaware County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash bail pending his next court appearance.
