The leaves have fallen and you have raked, and raked, raked.  When you are done jumping in the piles, bag up the leaves for removal in Oneonta. The City of Oneonta has curbside pickup of green waste now through Oct 16, 2014 in wards one through four.  Pick up for wards five through eight will be released at a later date.

Bag up your leaves and other small green waste in biodegradable/paper bags. Please do not to overfill bags and do not place rocks or dirt in them.  Bags should be able to be closed.  Brush must be shorter than four feet in length and smaller than three inches in diameter.

You can also bring green waste to the disposal site on Silas Lane.  To make a drop off, you must first sign in and get a key from the Public Service office at 76 Silas Lane. Hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
