On this day, August 28, 1993, singer, songwriter, pianist, Billy Joel scored the number one album in the U.S. with "River Of Dreams".  The album would remain at number one for three weeks.  Joel explained that many of the songs came to him while he was sleeping, leading to the name of the album.  The artist who created the cover was not only a supermodel but was also Joel's second wife, Christie Brinkley The album includes the singles, "River of Dreams, "All About Soul" and "Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel)".
