Your Favorite “Best Worst Movies of All Time”
This morning, a simple message ended up taking nearly an hour out of the day for us to get everyone's answers.
"Question for both of ya, favorite bad movie?" was what Listener Seth wanted to know. Things spiraled from there, on the topic of movies that you love, but nobody else things is a bucket of suck.
With a multi-generational audience, we got a lot of movies, some we'd heard of, some we love, and some we hated, as well as quite a few we'd never heard of.
One notable answer included Jack and Jill, that Adam Sandler movie where he decided he was going to play his character, Jack, as well as his character's identical twin sister, Jill.
To this day, I have no idea why I finished this one because it's essentially unwatchable. IMDB's rating has it looking at a 3.3/10, and Rotten Tomatoes even has it at 3%, which ranks it as one of the lowest-scoring movies of all time.
Al Pacino plays Jill's (Adam Sandler) love interest, but also a prospect for Jack (Also Adam Sandler) and his ad agency, who he wants to get secured for a commercial and promotion with Dunkin' Donuts.
But, just like Dwyer said this morning when R.E.M.'s Everybody Hurts was being dumped on by everyone, "Knock that off, that's someones favorite."
Hopefully, whoever loves this movie gets exposed to literally any other movie on the planet, because they obviously haven't seen anything else.
