Winter Storm ‘Gail’ Dropped 36 Inches On Oneonta Area
I can't remember a storm that has dumped so much snow in a 24 hour period but Winter Storm Gail certainly blew through our region Wednesday night and into yesterday morning! All schools in our area were physically closed, at least one opted to do remote learning yesterday and snow emergencies were declared as well and rightly so!
The National Weather Service of Binghamton, NY has come out with storm totals for our region. See the totals in the graphic below...
Needless to say, the snow is really piled up and it's going to be a while before we dig out from this. I think it's fair to say we'll have a white Christmas.
