What is your sibling order?  Oldest, middle, youngest, or maybe you are an only child.  In a recent discussion on the Today Show,  attention was brought to our birth order and what it reveals about us.  For instance, I'm the baby in my family, so what does this say about me?  Research has shown that the youngest child tends to be social, spoiled, and has a need for the limelight.  Okay, true.  But the baby of the family also tends to be financially irresponsible in comparison. Um, okay, comparably speaking, also true.  So that shoe fits, but what about the other kids?

The middle child is a good people reader, flexible and focused. The middle child is also more secretive than their siblings.

Firstborns, come on, they are born leaders.  They naturally take that role as their siblings look up to them and parents rely on them for help with the younger kids.  The oldest child is a people pleaser and reliable too. Seems to fit my family.

Of course, science says that other factors can play a role in this,  Such as how you are raised, if step siblings or adoption is involved, culture, etc.
