‘The Flash’ Easter Eggs: All the DC References You Missed
In The Flash, we see that Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen needs to eat a ton of food in order to maintain super speed. If Barry doesn’t consume tons of calories, the Flash can’t run. This concept comes straight out of the comics, where DC speedsters like Barry Allen and Wally West have often struggled to fill their empty stomachs at the worst possible moments.

We’ll point out the one spot where you can see Henry Cavill’s Superman, where Ezra Miller’s Flash got the idea to use that superhero name, the differences between the Batcycle in this movie and the Batpod in the Nolan Batman trilogy, the references to an iconic DC crime family, the “baby shower” joke, and why Flash’s lightning in this movie is yellow even though it was blue in the other DCEU movies.
