I am always very sensitive to stories about "Dads" since losing my father to cancer nearly four years ago.  A friend of mine, who also lost her dad, shared this video with me that brought me to tears.  I want to share it with you because it is emotionally powerful for anyone who has lost a parent...

I have the coolest family ever!  A little over a week ago, I celebrated my 40th birthday.  My husband had a special weekend planned but circumstances out of our control changed all that.

Merry Christmas everybody!  I just wanted to take a moment to wish you and yours a very happy holiday.  I have had the pleasure of sharing another great year with you in radio land.  I feel very fortunate to come to work each morning and know that I have such faithful listeners.  I have my regular callers, and new facebook friends.

Ted Muehl and I were discussing the five second rule this morning.  You know, when you drop a piece of food on the floor, it is still good if you pick it up within five seconds.  Well, apparently it is not true.  Germs waste no time attaching to the fallen eats.

  Next week kicks off the Otsego County Fair in Morris, N.Y.  The best six days of summer!  I always look forward to this week.  My family has exhibited at the fair for four generations as many families throughout the county have.  Life long friends are truly made in this agricultural community.   I've have also been involved with the fair through the radio station for a number of years.   I belie

Dan and I read our palms today and think we are both a little troubled. I'm apparently an emotional person who thinks with my gut, while Dan's rational, composed, calculated, but is missing one of the lines.

Okay guys, you know me, I don't get upset about a lot of things but gas prices are making me a little crazy! On my way through town this morning I noticed gas prices are up again. $4.15-$4.21 a gallon. This really hurts the wallet. Weekly/monthly budgets are going to really have to adjust for a lot of people to fill their gas tanks...
