The hard work of Stacie Haynes, Executive Director of the Susquehanna SPCA for Otsego County since 2015, advocating for the safety of animals, has earned her a prestigious position as Board President for The New York State Animal Protection Federation (NYSAPF)

Now the Otsego County Sheriff's Office has a deputy, Erika Puffer, who has completed the Level 1 training course with the National Animal Cruelty Investigations School through the University of Missouri. The Level 1 course is one of three animal-cruelty training courses related to investigating animal cruelty cases and Puffer's newly acquired skills will be used on cases in Otsego County.

This week we are going to feature Aaron, a very handsome 2-year-old male cat. Aaron came to The Susquehanna SPCA from a hoarding case where he was with many other cats. During his time with staff there, his personality has truly blossomed.

This week we’re going to feature Adeline, who is a 2-year-old female Catahoula Leopard dog mix. According to SQSPCA, Adeline has been living a life of luxury with her foster parents while she waits for her furrever family to come along!

This week we’re going to feature Tammy. She is adorable and staff at SQSPCA can't imagine why she hasn't been adopted yet! Tammy is an incredibly sweet 2-year-old female cat who is searching for her furrever home.

This week we’re going to feature Chloe. She is an adorable 6-year-old Bulldog/Beagle mix. She was rescued from a puppy mill where she was used for breeding.

This week we are featuring Audrey, a very playful, 1-year-old female cat who enjoys flopping over on her back to get attention. She is affectionate but does enjoy play nibbling when you pet her.

Boss is a very friendly, male, 1-year-old Hound mix. He is a total goofball who loves every single person he meets.

Tallulah is a 1-year-old female cat who is a very friendly feline and loves attention from anyone who will give it to her. She's best suited as an indoor/outdoor cat.

Lucas is an extremely sweet, 2-year-old dog who has had a very rough start in life but he would make a wonderful pet for the right person or family.
