Springbrook can finally get "The Ford on Main" Oneonta housing renovation project going now that the organization has closed on the purchase of that property.

Springbrook, a non-profit organization that supports people with developmental disabilities in Central New York and employs more than 1200 people, has made a move to further support and retain its employees.

The purchase of the Ford Block building supports Springbrook's mission by providing housing for young professionals

State Senator James L. Seward (R/C/I-Oneonta) announced earlier this week that Patricia Kennedy of Oneonta, Chief Executive Officer at Springbrook, has been awarded a 2015 New York State Senate “Woman of Distinction.”

Springbrook will hold tryouts for the Scorpions Special Olympics Basketball teams and Skills Competitors on Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28 from 6-8pm.
