Southside Mall

Canstruction is a fantastic show at the Southside Mall all week long.  I was there as a judge on Sunday and it was a difficult task.  They were all, well, CANtastic! Six groups gathered more than four thousand canned food items for thew local food pantries...

Four teams of students from SUNY Oneonta and the community will test their engineering skills in a “canstruction” competition this weekend at the Southside Mall in Oneonta. The teams will build structures out of canned food that will ultimately be donated to the local food pantries.

The Southside Mall celebrates the grand opening of Umberto's Brick Oven Pizzeria and Cafe today at 5:30pm.  The public is welcome to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony with the Otsego County Chamber.  Stop and meet the new owners and sample some tasty menu items...

As previously reported, the ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for today for Kay jewelers at the Southside mall in Oneonta has been canceled. The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce would like to apologize for any inconvenience.
