Mark your calender for the twenty-first annual Ricky J. Parisian Pit Run in Oneonta, New York. This year's race day is October 5, 2014 with a sanctioned 10K race, a 5K race, a 2 mile stroll, and a fun run.

This weekend is the 20th Anniversary Pitrun in Oneonta, New York.  The community pride and support behind this event is evident at the Pit Pasta Dinner and of course on race day.  All monies raised stay local to support youth programs and scholarships.

The volunteers have been working all year for this weekend event.  The Ricky J “Pit” Parisian race, named The Pit Run, marks it’s 20th Anniversary this weekend. The Pit Run celebrates it's 20th Anniversary in just 45 days.  The 5K and sanctioned 10K race on October 6, 2013, is in honor of Ricky J. Parisian Memorial Scholarship Foundation in Oneonta, New York.  The event also includes a two stroll and kids fun run.  Last year, over 950 registrants participated in the events.
