If you hear the whisper of Broadway tunes, then that's because Orpheus Theatre is getting ready for a big show this Saturday

Orpheus Theatre proudly presents, "Shrek The Musical", starring Tom Pondolfino as the big, green, lovable, ogre.  There are three chance to see this fun production this weekend only.

Orpheus Theatre will have two presentations of "Nunsence" this weekend at the Otesaga in Cooperstown, New York.  Friday evening, March 7, 2014 will be a show only at 7pm.  On Saturday, March 8, 2014 enjoy dinner and a show at 6:30pm.

This weekend, enter the Jellicle world, as Orpheus Theatre presents Andrew Lloyd Webber's "CATS".   Two shows only this Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 8pm and Sunday, December 15 at 2pm at the Goodrich Theatre on the SUNY Oneonta campus.  Tickets are nearly sold out, so don't delay.

Halloween is quickly approaching and there are some fun Halloween events in Oneonta on the way, starting this weekend to mark on your calendar for family fun:

Orpheus Theatre will be holding auditions for their next production, 'Cats'.  This will be a big production.  The show includes four leads, seventeen supporting roles, and eight cameo spots and those are just the named cats.  Add in the dancers, and extras and you have a very large cast of kittens!  Auditions will be held October 16 and 18, 2013.

Orpheus Theatre will begin their Youth Theatre Troupe this Sunday, September, 29, 2013.  The program is for children and teens grades 1 to12 and offers both training and performing.  The workshop runs the entire school year and meets every Sunday.

The Rocky Horror Show is a combination of science fiction and B horror movies.  It is about a newly engaged couple that get caught in a storm.  They stop for cover at the home of a mad transvestite scientist who is ready to unveil his latest creation...

Three weeks away from Orpheus Theatre's production of "The Rocky Horror Show", September 14 and 15, 2013 at the Goodrich Theatre on the SUNY Oneonta campus.  Audience members are encouraged to dress up and join the fun.  Orpheus is celebrating their 30th season and all tickets prices have been reduced to only $15 for general admission, $10 for children and senior citizens...
