It is finally here!  Townsquare Media and Five Star Subaru present Jr Idol tonight at the Oneonta Theatre at 6 p.m. Tonight is the audition round for our singers ages 11-15 years. The contestants have handed in their songs, and Jeff Wood of Northern Star Productions will be providing the music. I will be your host again this year as seek out this year's Jr Idols.

On his way to X Factor auditions, Ethan Harris makes a stop to tape a television interview to share his experience with Central New York.  After winning a grand prize audition pass for X Factor, news traveled fast about this local musician's upcoming journey.

Ethan Harris, winner of our 2011 Jr Idol competition, left me a note on facebook with  a cover of Dolly Parton's super ballad, "I Will Always Love You", which was also released by Whitney Houston.   Thanks Ethan!  It sounds great.  So glad you are pursuing your dream...

Disney Channel's sweetheart, Peyton List is coming to Oneonta on July fourth at the Foothills Performing Arts Center.  We are pleased to announce that we will be joined by some of our Jr Idol singers: 2011 Winner, Ethan Harris of Garrattsville, along with 2012 Winner Eli Madison of Edmeston and 2012 Finalist Janetta Montouri of Edmeston.

Last night we crowned our winners in the 4th Annual Jr Idol competition brought to you by Five Star Subaru.  The Oneonta Theatre filled with excitement as our finalists took the stage.

Tonight is part one of the big American Idol finale.  Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez will sing their hearts out tonight and then the winner will be announced tomorrow night on Fox TV.  Do you remember season 2 of American Idol?

We kicked off our 4th Jr Idol competition presented by FIVE STAR SUBARU last night in our first round of auditions at the Oneonta Theatre.  Lots of talented young singers.
