Tonight the Top 15 guys will face their destiny on American Idol.  The judges will call ten contestants to perform live and I can't wait to hear them say, "Ethan Harris".  Everyone at Townsquare Oneonta fell in love with this young talent in 2011 as Ethan stepped on the stage for his first ever appearance.  He entered our Jr Idol competition and took to the stage like a pro.

This week is the kick off to Season 13 of American Idol.  This year's competition is especially exciting for our listening area as two local talents are setting out to win golden ticket to Hollywood.  Kaitlyn Jackson of Norwich, New York, and Ethan Harris of Garrattsville, New York are both competing to be the next American Idol.

After winning the American Idol Experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida, Kaitlyn Jackson, will now face now the three judges who could change her life.  Kaitlyn is singing for that golden ticket to Hollywood on American Idol which kicks off on January 15 and 16, 2014 on Fox TV.

Ethan Harris took the area by storm in 2011 when he took the stage for the first time ever to compete in WSRK's Jr Idol competition.  No one was surprised when he won his age division and in fact we all couldn't wait to hear more.  Ethan has a unique sound and an endearing quality that really sets him apart.  Will the judges on American Idol agree?

Tonight, the top five finalists in both age categories , 11 to 15year olds and 16 to 20 year olds, will take the stage for the final round of Jr Idol, presented by Five Star Subaru.  Everyone is bringing their "A" game and the night should be very entertaining.

Tonight our Jr Idol Semi-Finalists take the stage at the historic Oneonta Theatre.  Both age age categories, 11 to 15yr olds and 16 to 20yr olds, will be singing tonight.  At the end of the night, Leslie Ann will be announcing the finalists in both groups.  Wait?!  What about Tracie?

Last week we held the auditions for our 11-15 yr old Jr Idols and narrowed it down to the semi-finalists.  Be sure to check out their performances.  This Thursday, May 16, 2013 we'll be auditioning our Jr Idols in the 16-20yr category at the Oneonta Theatre at 6pm.  Come cheer on your favorite singer.
