Last night, Caleb Johnson was announced as the winner of American Idol Season 13.  It was a star studded finale night.  It was a big year for our area as two local contestants, Ethan Harris of Garrattsville, New York and Kaitlyn Jackson of Norwich, New York made their marks on the show.

I want to give a personal 'shout out' to our 2011 Jr Idol winners on their American Idol journey.  Ethan Harris (Garrattsville, NY) and Kaitlyn Jackson (Norwich, NY) both have so much to be proud of.  Harris made the Top 15 guys and Jackson held her own during Hollywood week, making through the group round to the solo round before being cut.  Approximately 70,000 people chased their dream of being

Tonight the Top 15 guys will face their destiny on American Idol.  The judges will call ten contestants to perform live and I can't wait to hear them say, "Ethan Harris".  Everyone at Townsquare Oneonta fell in love with this young talent in 2011 as Ethan stepped on the stage for his first ever appearance.  He entered our Jr Idol competition and took to the stage like a pro.

This week American Idol will make some major cuts.  The Top 30 will be cut to the Top 13.  Ethan Harris of Garrattsville, NY will make is live solo performance on Wednesday along with the other top 14 guys.  Our votes will get Ethan to the Top 13!

He did it. He did it. He did it! And we cannot wait to vote for him! We hope you will join us as we follow Ethan's journey on American Idol.
